Hi guys and welcome bavk to a brand new blog post and today i am going to be writitng about the Cube as a Platonic Solid and also Metatrons cube. I will also bee writing about what i have been upto. The hexahedron is the third Platonic Solid and is also more commonly known as a Cube. First lets talk about what hexahedron means; a hexahedron is any polyhedra (3D Shape) with six faces, so for example a cube is a regular Hexahedron with all its faces square. The plural for a Hexahedron is Hexahedra.

Now lets talk about the real subject the Cube, it represents the element of earth. It is a quadrilateral and it is perfectly symmetrical it has all right angles and a height, depth and width all the same. A cube has six faces, 8 vertices and 12 edges which means it goes up in twos perfectly. 11 different nets can be made to form a cube. The cube is the only regular hexahedron. The cube is dual to the octahedron. It is cubical or octahedral symmetry. A cube is one of the simplest mathematical shapes in space. Something that is shaped like a cube is sometimes referred to as cubic.

Metatrons Cube

Metatrons cube contains every platonic solid and is one of the most historic geometrical forms used by early geometerists its is also associated with the flower of life (the map of every shape known to man) Metatron’s Cube is a two-dimensional geometric figure created from 13 equal circles with lines from the center of each circle extending out to the centers of the other 12 circles

What have I been up to?

Over the last couple od days we have been to quite a few places, for example on friday I went to the little town os St Emillion where the saint went into hiding in a cave. Recently i have been going the rope swing up the river where there is a 25 ft jump into the river as well as a 6 ft drop rope swing. We also visited a lovely village called villefranch which has one of the best restaurants in the area; we also found a nice cheap little cafe which also did pizzas! We will definitely wander back there and get a pizza and a drink.

Some Visitors?

Liam and Tariq are going to be coming to visit us they are some of mum and Iysha’s friends and they are driving here currently as i write this they arrive at 12 today or probably by the time this post is up they arrived today. I will make sure that i take them to the rope swing and show them how much fun it is! They have driven all the way from NW ENgland to where i am now (the Dordogne region) it is a very long drive! I’m sure they will be tired by the time they have arrived!
